It’s time to start getting some seeds in the ground.  One bed is turned, with yummy homemade compost added.  Building more raised beds is on the docket this weekend, as well as careful plans for a workable planting schedule.  My goal is to plant and harvest all the veggies we will eat this summer, and  to extend the season as far into the winter as possible.

On to the good stuff- seeds, seeds, seeds.

Rain, rain, rain.

More rain, snow?

In the back garden, to my great pleasure, a sign that spring is coming soon.

When I see those first little  Daphne blossoms my heart jumps a little.

What Flower
Are You?

I took this quiz- It’s kind of fun.

I love a good daffodil, but I think of myself more as a dahlia.
